Proline Golf Strore 15% Off

If you are in the Bay Area (San Jose, San Francisco) and are looking for golf clubs or golf accessories check out Proline Golf. They are in Milpitas, CA and just opened a month ago. They are offering 15% off everything in the store to first time buyers. This includes clubs, bags, shoes, balls…. I compared prices with online stores and they were beating those prices with their sale. I just got a new Callaway irons set and got an exceptional deal… They carry all the name brand clubs including Callaway Fusion, Taylor Made R7’s and more.

Best Wireless Router Deal

If you are looking for a wireless router then we have a deal for you. The deal is from Circuit City and is the Buffalo WHRG125. This wireless router is what we use after having problems with a linksys wireless router… (We did install a 3rd party firmware on the WHRG125)

The price is $34.99 after a $15 dollar rebate from CC but to make the deal ever sweeter you can use the $10 off mfg rebate and it will bring the price down to $24.99 AR.

This is one of the best routers to install DD-WRT which is a open source firmware for the router. It has many of the options that you would expect in routers that are hundreds of dollars. (We use this firmware and endorse it 100%)…Though you need to be techy to install it as there are some tricks to install it on the buffalo router. Once installed using it is easy and is very stable.

Better Deals at Verizon Wireless

At the consumerist they have an article by a former verizon wireless sales rep. He gives some helpful hints on how to get the best deal at verizon.

1. Never Buy a 2 year contract - Buying a one year contract is only $50 more but you will be able to upgrade your phone every 10 months.

2. Buy accessories and get a free phone - An easy way to get a verizon rep to bring a phone down in price is tell them you will buy accessories (as they make a percentage of an accessories sale).  You can always return them later if you decide you don’t need the accessorie.

3. Insurance isn’t worth it - It has a $50 dollar deductable and doesn’t cover that many things…

4. Get a loyalty credit-  Ask for a loyalty credit of $60 dollars if you aren’t planning on using your new every 2. You may even be able to still use it when you buy a phone in store as most of the time they don’t check if you got loyalty credit.
